This is a great neighborhood spot in the center of the city.
It’s far too bright, so bright that I almost walked out...but what can you do. The place is full of children and local families, the waitstaff run around like crazy people, the ambience is not perfect. The food is great, the staff are helpful and warm, the wine list is perfect, pasta is perfect, everything is perfect because it’s Italy.
We went there spontaneously for a dinner after walking around in Torino. The restaurant seemed to be very popular amongst locals (was very crowded) - very busy. The food was ok but not as fantastic as in other restaurants on our short Italy trip. Maybe we chosed the wrong dishes - marinated Sardelles, Pasta with Botarga (fish roe powder) and Beef Tartare. Grilled meat dishes on other tables looked very good.
The fish dishes were really good. Our vegetarian guest really liked the balsamico red onions and I have to admit they were tasty! I had the burrata as antipasto and it was maybe too large, I couldn’t finish it. The restaurant likes the traditional way of cuisine, which I appreciate but my personal preference is to add a bit of fusion kitchen here and there, at moments when it makes sense. A solid 4-star experience
Spent 4 days in Turin and this was by far the best restaurant we ate in.. traditional beautiful food, great service..:we had prosciutto melone, fettuccine with mushrooms and veal steak with frites. To drink a bottle of barolo. Bellisimo 💕 …
Very good restaurant. Had a great table outside for lunch. Really great starters, and the pasta was fantastic. Very good option in this neighborhood.
Friendly, attentive and fast staff; great choice of vine and delicious food. Better make a reservation ;)
Absolutely delicious! Flavors of the food came through magnificently-not too salty. Pasta with Pesto sauce and Risotto Fiori were both fabulous!
Really very excellent Italiana restaurant and service
